Dear GWDRC,
We are happy to announce the following:
GWDRC Mini Indoor Season from 2/12 - 3/17
Cost $30.00
3-8th grade season - 2/12-May - $100.00
9-12th grade Home School 2/12 - May - $100.00
GWDRC will have a mini indoor season starting in February - Monday 2/12
The club is open to distance runners from 3rd to 8th grade and also homeschool high school athletes from 9th to 12th grade. Any high school athletes should not be on any high school teams due to conflicts in training schedules.
The period between 2/11 and 3/17 will be to prep athletes for track and field and also prep advanced runners who are interested in running at the Adidas National Middle School indoor meet which will take place in Virginia Beach between 3/15 and 3/17.
We are encouraging all runners at the local WJCC middle schools to take part in the WJCC Middle School XC Clubs that will start Feb 26th and finish April 17th.
We will also offer practices from April 17th until late May for athletes looking for opportunities to run one or two Spring track meets at Jamestown High School.

SIGN UP FOR the NEW AAU MEMBERSHIP AFTER AUGUST 1st, 2023 so it will last until the following August 31st.
All members must be part of AAU and have renewed their membership prior to the first day of practice. Current memberships expire on August 31st, 2023.

Since 2014, the Greater Williamsburg Distance Running Club (GWDRC) has provided a team opportunity for 3rd to 8th grade boys and girls who have an interest in distance running (3+ miles). Our youth club runners live in James City County, Upper York County and Williamsburg, VA, though the club is open to anyone in the region.
